I set up a navigation structure using hyperlinks. I can navigate through all
other pages but when I try to go to my home page, I get a message that the
server doesn't exist.

URL, please? (in particular, to any page that links back to the home page,
the the URL to the homepage direct).

Have you checked the link is a correct link and not mistyped or pointing to
your hard drive file rather than the one on the server?
could be as simple a typo like www.yoursite..com (note, the double full-stop
before the 'com').
