i need my chart to automatically update if i add columns. i start
everyday with 1 column and get to around 350 a day. i need to be able
to have my chart update with each addition so that i don't have to
change my chart series 350 times a day. thanks in advance for your
help.

I don't quite know how you add 350 columns to a worksheet, but for a
self-updating chart, see

While the examples use data in rows, the OFFSET function is easily
adapted to adding data in new columns.
