can I move outlook templates to my desktop?

I have Microsoft Outlook 2003 and have created templates which were saved. I
use these repeatedly and am wondering if it is possible to create a desktop
shortcut.

That depends on what these "templates" actually are. Remember that the desktop is just another file folder.

They are email templates.

That doesn't tell us anything more than before. But the answer is still the same. The desktop is a file folder. A file or shortcut will work as well there as anywhere else.
