I would like to create an HTML template file that has a header and a footer,
and create another HTML content file that would appear between the header and
footer on the template page. Can I do this with FrontPage? I'm using 2000,
but if I needed to upgrade to a newer version I could do so. Thanks

What type of merging are you talking about, real-time (when the page is being viewed in a browser)
or while designing the page in FP?
