Can I merge distribution/group member lists

Hi,
we have Outlook 2007. When we send e-mail to groups, we sometimes have
duplicate addresses. For example, when send to our
(E-Mail Removed), and (E-Mail Removed) we have users in each
group. Aside from expanding each group and manually deleting any duplicate
e-mail addresses, is there a way merge and have duplicates automatically
deleted? Or do we need to make custom distibution lists? Suggestions?
thanks.

Are these groups defined on the client or on an Exchange server?

Then it shouldn't matter. Exchange will break down a distribution list (and
all sub lists) so that duplicates don't get multiple emails.

In other words, lets say you have an Exchange DL with Joe on it, and an
Exchange DL with Joe and Mary on it. If you were to send to both DLs, Joe
will only get 1 mail.
