i made my movie and i want to write it to a dvd but it can not because its format isnt vob or ifo how can i write them to a dvd??

Hello there,

You need some DVD authoring software. A lot of people like Nero, others
MyDVD, I like Dazzle DVD Complete. You do of course need a DVD burner. It
is often the case that the necessary software comes with the burner.

You save in in MovieMaker as DV-AVI format, then use your third party
burning software (SonicMyDVD, Roxio, Nero, whichever you use) to reencode it
to DVD format and after it's reencoded, it will burn the DVD.

I have Nero but the video format must be *vob* or *ifo* so that i can write it to the dvd, so what i do???

Save in DV-AVI format then open the DVD Creator part of Nero..... it will
re-encode into the correct format and then burn to DVD. Read the manual
that came with Nero if you need more information... or look at their support
on their website where you can probably download another copy if you have
lost yours.

The same feature in Roxio is called DVD burner.... however I do not run Nero
so I cannot tell you what it is called in their application.
