How can I make my http (MSN) account my default inbox?

My MSN account is the only personal account I'm using and I want to make it
my default inbox in Outlook 2007. Is there a way to do this? Currently, I
cannot get the icon for new mail, and the startup page does not open to my
inbox.
Any help is very much appreciated!

Only when you are using the MSN Outlook Connector. If you are using the
default HTTP connector then you can't.

Thanks.
Can you please describe how to set up the MSN Outlook Connector?
Should I first delete my HTTP account in Outlook?

Does your subscription allows you to use the MSN Outlook Connector?
Currently only MSN Premium and Microsoft Office Live (except
basic)subscriptions allow you to use the connector and in Holland a (paid)
Windows Live Hotmail subscription as well.

I believe I ony have a basic subscription. I've had the free account since
the early 90's.

Then you are restricted to the HTTP connection which can't be set as the
default folderset. Good news; there will be a MSN Outlook Connector BETA
soon which can be used freely by all participants. I don't know if the
connector remains free after the BETA.

Thanks again!
