Can I make changes to my website on different computers?

I have been in charge of a website for a year now. I would like to pass on
some of the responsibility of updating to another executive board member.
Is it possible to make use different computers to make updates?

It is certainly possible, and I have done it, but the problem is that the
updates will not show up on both computers. If you make an update on your
computer, it will not show up on your partner's computer, and vice versa, so
there is the possibility of overwriting each other's work.

Yes. But the other computer must have frontpage on it; they can connect
"live" to the server and work on it that way, or publish it to their system
and work locally then upload the content.

Yup.

but the problem is that the

Uh, no. Workflow solves this easily. Just work live, or publish a copy
from the site to local before beginning work, and then publish back when
finished working.
