Can make appointments!

Suddenly I cannot make a new appointment in OL2003 (WinXp Pro SP3). I
cannot even open existing appointments! I first noticed this today; I'm
guessing it's been a week or so since I last created an appointment in OL.
I have 2 OL profiles and the problem exists for both. What's gone wrong?
And How can I fix it? I don't recall changing anything in OL recently.

FWIW a few months ago I had played around with the idea of a shared calendar
as a workaround to the fact that I cannot readily switch between the two OL
profiles (1 for business and 1 for personal). The object was to share a
calendar between the 2 profiles. However, this did not work very well; as I
recall, my Blackberry would not sync with the shared calendar so I decided
to use only 1 calendar, the one in the OL profile for business. Well, I
clicked on one of those unused "shared" calendars and it poppod up on the
same screen as my reguklar (business) calendar. Oddly, I had no trouble
creating an appointment in that calendar.

Try resetting the view.
See http://www.outlook-tips.net/beginner/resetview.htm if you need help
doing it.

FWIW, if you use the desktop manager to sync the BB, you can sync multiple
calendars.

Thanks! Before I got your kind response it occurred to me to try the old
reboot trick. The simple solution that sometimes really is the solution.
You know, if the computer or software is doing something really wierd see if
rebooting fixes whatever ails it. Well it seems to have fixed whatever the
problem was. That should have occured to me before I posted my question.

Hmmmm. News to me, a Blackberry sub-sub-neophyte. I will have to look into
that.

Going from memory since I use BES now (and it won't work with outlook 2010,
which is on the computer that has DM) - go into Synchronize, then Configure
synchronization (top option) - select each folder type and click a button to
configure the folders you want to sync.
