I can't log into my network or local machine since
changing from a Domain to a Workgroup. I have tried every
thing from my normal passwords to all the administrator
passwords that my IT guys at work use and still have had
no luck. The reason for the change was so that i could
connect my laptop to my PC at home. Is there any way i can
revert back to the original Domain with out logging onto
windows 2000 pro. would appreciate any sugestions as we
are stumped. thanks Chris

Talk to you network administrator. He has to give you a local
account/password, or re-register your machine on the office
domain.

The problem is your computer was set up to use the Network security. You
will need to get the Local Administrator Password set when the computer was
first set up. If it was purchased you may still have the default blank
password. Try logging on as Administrator and hit enter for the password.
Once you have logged in as the Administrator you will need to create a local
account
