When I sort an Outlook 2003 (Version 5.1.2600 Service Pack 2 Build 2600)
message folder by the message Icon it does not group messages replied to,
messages forwarded, read messages and unread messages in separate groups.
Earlier versions of Outlook used to group replied-to and forwarded messages
separately, which is important for the way I like to manage my messages.

I want to be able to review and delete messages that I have forwarded,
review and delete messages without attachments that I have replied to, and
review messages that I have neither forwarded nor replied to.

Your version information does not match any Outlook version but Outlook Express. What are you actually using?

Post all replies to the group to keep the discussion intact. All
unsolicited mail sent to my personal account will be deleted without
reading.

After furious head scratching, AlanAJ asked:

oops... sorry, that was my XP version!

The Microsoft (R) Office Outlook (R) 2003 version is 11.6568.6568 SP2

(now why can't I copy that from the About Microsoft Office Outlook window?)
