I want to dynamically link a value on a FrontPage HTML page to a specific
cell (ie: A3) in a particular Excel file. Is there a way to do this so that
the HMTL is current with whatever value is entered into cell A3 in the Excel
file?
thank you!

You *should* (didn't test) be able to go to that cell, then
Insert-->Name-->Define and give the cell a name. Then, something like:
http://myweb.com/myfile.xls#definedname

Hope it helps!

I may not have stated my scenario very well. That did work in regards to a
hyperlink, but I actually want to populate a particular location in the
FrontPage document with the value in cell A3 of the Excel file (or of that
named field).

Oh. I don't think you'll get html (FrontPage) to do that... but that's just
a first guess. Maybe someone else knows better what to use.

No.

What you really need is a server side script solution or a small database.
