When my calendar reminders pop up, I read them and then dismiss them, but
they keep reappearing everytime I open up Outlook. I have dismissed/deleted
them five or six times but they keep reappearing. I never had this problem
until I installed Microsoft Office 7.

did you try closing outlook and restarting it with the /cleanreminders
switch?
