I have created a presentation and can present it with the music as long as
the cd is in the drive however it is for my kindergarten class and I would
like to make a copy for all of my students with the music and don't know how
to get the music onto the presentation for the families. HELP!! Need to have
completed by Thursday.

You will need to 'rip' the audio from the CD to a .wav, .aiff or .mp3 file
first, then select the appropriate slide and go;

Insert->Movies and Sounds->Sound from file...

and select the file(s) you want to play along with your presentation. To
rip the sound from your CD, try using Windows Media player, Nero, iTunes or
any number of applications (there are many free/demo ones out there that you
can use if necesary)

Hope this helps.

Okay but I downloaded it from Rhapsody and have it on a cd, as long as the cd
is in the drive it will work. I can't get into a format that is a sound file
so that I can save it in the ppt folder.

The latest version of Windows media player will convert the CD file into a
usable product to insert into your presentation
