I am looking for a way to only allow the emails I want to come in to Outlook.
I know about the Rules and Junk sender's list but it's too much work to keep
all of that up. I just want to have a list of people and/or business
partners that I allow to email and if their not on my list then they don't
get in.

Thanks in advance for all your help!!!

P.S. I am spending several hours a day trying to wade through all the emails
I get; I just don't have the time anymore!

Well, if you go to Tools - Options - Junk E-mail, you can set it to Safe
Lists Only and then, on the Safe Senders tab, add the people whom you want
to receive mail from.

I know you said that's too much work to keep up, but, well, that is how you
have a list of people to allow mail from.

Thank you for your email, I'm not seeing the same folder path that you
mentioned when I look in my Outlook. Maybe it's becuase I'm using Outlook
2002, but when I go to - Tools - Options - There is not folder/tab that says
Junk E-mail. I do have a Junk E-mail tab under - Tools - Organize - but then
I don't have a Safe Sender's Tab.

Hmmm not sure what to do now, any ideas?

Well, Outlook 2002's junk email filtering was really kinda .... well......
junky. I would either look at a third party plug in, like those listed here
http://www.slipstick.com/rules/junkmail.htm#tools, or investigate filtering
at your ISP level, which would block messages so you wouldn't even have to
download them. (Or upgrading to Outlook 2003 or 2007.)

Well I thank you very much for your help and think the best solution is what
you mentioned last, upgrading to a newer version.

Have a great day!!!
