I am setting up a web site for the Vancouver World Peace Forum and the server
I have been given is PHP and MYSQL.
I would just as soon avoid learning PHP and MYSQL if possible.
Can you advise?

FP have not direct support for PHP or MySQL, so you will need to learn if you want to use them.
However does the server have the FP extensions?
