Can I install Windows XP Professional and Laptop with vista

Hello everyone,

I have purchased new laptop with Vista, I want have Windows XP prof
now.
Can I install XP prof and have two OS on my laptop.

Do not post multiple messages asking the same thing, post one and you will
have to wait for someone to read and then if they have the answer to respond,
and always keep your response within the original thread, do not create a new
thread to respond to a question.

in answer to your question, yes it's possible, although I doubt if you would
really want to do what is necessary to have both operating systems available
on your laptop, as you would have to create a seperate partition for xp, and
do some other things with Vista so that xp wouldn't mess it up the first time
you boot xp

Vista can shrink the 'C' partition if you don't have a second partition for
XP.
You may want to use a boot manager, so you can hide Vista from XP.
Another option would be to clone Vista to an external drive.
Xp will remove Vista restore points each time XP boots.

This is for installing XP after Vista.

Sure. Pretty much as many as you want. Partition Magic helps with
this, as do all Linux distributions.
