Hi, I have a small home network with a 4 port router and wireless, on one of
the wired ports is a network drive (K also accessible over the internet. I
want to install the database to the network drive so all computers can use
the BCM database. Please advise if this is possible and where to find out how
to do it. The standard install puts all items onto the C: drive without
giving the option to store elsewhere.

Thanks

When setting up BCM You are given the option to select the db, so given that
you would just browse to and select the db at its location.
I have to say however I've never done this and as such dont know the
consequences of such action or its interaction with outlook on the
individual PC's, or maybe you have any pst's stored on the network, which is
an unsupported by MS configeration (Corruption issues)

Assuming it's the current BCM, the database must be a Microsoft SQL
Server installation, not just a file. It is possible to use an MS SQL
Server running on a different computer. I haven't seen any evidence of
anyone running it on a third-party SQL server.
