"Platform" refers to the operating system (i.e. WinXP, Vista, etc.). In the
column headers of your Inbox, do you see the little icon that looks like a
single page with the top right corner bent over? If not, you need to make
sure you can see it as that is the icon that gives you the indication you
are asking about. Right-click on any of the column headers, choose
"Customize Current View", click on "Fields" and then make sure "Icon" is
included in the "Show these fields in this order" box.
