We have an old legacy software we use here that has been
migrated to our windows advanced server from unix. It is
very dns dependant and uses multiple sessions of a
dedicated port (1157). We are having 2 problems with this
application which are pretty much tied together. The
first was leaving hundreds of sessions of port 1157 in
time_wait which we have corrected, the other is called
an "error 72 network connection lost". It seems we are
hitting against some sort of session limit on this port.
Is there a way that I can increase the number of
connections to this port and how would I do this.
