How can I import messages from Windows Mail into Outlook 2003?

's Computer Specifications

When I try to import my messages from Windows Mail (Vista 64) into Outlook
2003 I get the following message:

The export could not be performed.
An error occurred while initializing MAPI.

Any ideas?

That generally means you have the wrong email client set as default.
Look in Default Programs, change the default email client and see if that
helps.
BTW, I'm confused. You talk about importing and exporting in the same
sentence.
You should not be importing in Outlook, but be EXPORTING from Windows Mail.
