How can I identify why some links are being blocked?

I'm using sp2 with all updates installed. On some sites links are being
blocked with just a momentary "flash" on the screen which indicates it tried
to open but I'm instantly returned to the calling page. There is nothing on
the info bar. This is a trusted site so I allowed popups and set security
to the minimum setting but I still cannot open the link.

How can I capture the reason IE is blocking these?

Can you give us an example URL?

Place your cursor over the downward arrow immediately to the right of Back
button and click on the divider bar. It might offer some clues, Len.

Hi Len,

I've not got an answer to the problem, but I'm writing to let you know I ave
exactly the same problem!! It happens quite alot on my home PC, especially
links that start with 'javascript'. I don't have the problem on my work PC,
but both home and work PC's are XP on SP2, with the only differences being
the firewalls. I'm running NIS 2004 Pro at home.
