After looking for on-line reviews of the Canon i455 printer I am more
confused now than before I started. PC Pro isn't very keen on it at all
yet PC Advisor gives it top marks!

Has anyone here got any personal experience of this printer that they can
pass on before I consider buying it? Not looking for professional
quality, just a good all rounder which will print mainly text but with
the occasional photograph all at an economical price.

I've only had mine for a few days but i love it. The text is laser
sharp and the pictures on glossy paper are fantastic. Pretty fast and
quite quiet. Love it so far.

I can't talk about the i455 - but I have an i550 for over a year now
and it is fantastic. Good quality images, and very cheap to run.
Cost of ownership is very good indeed.

Thanks. Took the plunge myself the other day and I endorse fully what you
say about yours. Early days yet but so far so good.

Seems I spoke too soon. When I print out a multipage document of
about 5 pages or more it finishes and then starts just pulling blank
pages through...about the number of pages that it actually printed on.
Anyone got any suggestions on what i can do to stop this?

What type of document are you printing? Are the page margins set correct?
I once had this happen on a spreadsheet because I hadn't got the columns
quite right.

OK, it's official. I'm an idiot. There was a 2nd blank page that i
had set up in the document that i hadn't got to formatting just yet. I
just forgot about it. That's why the printer was spitting out blank
pages.
