I have just added sound (.wav) and it only works on IE. Can I get it to
work across all browsers with messing with the html? Would upgrading to 2003
help?

No, you can't fix this at the server, of via the HTML. Your choices are to
pick a more universal audio format or to provide your visitors with links to
players for your .wav files.

BTW, most visitors *hate* background music. Most of them are already
listening to something else, be it WWF wrestling, Beethoven, or the baby
sleeping.

Thank you Jim. This was just for Christmas. After Chhristmas I plan to use
a hyperlink to give them the choice of listening or not. "netiquette"

If I got to your site and music started, I'd be gone the moment the
music started, and I can assure you I'm not alone. I don't tolerate
sites with music or animated graphics & most that have music also have
the animations.

This was just for Christmas and not meant as a steady diet. I plan to give
the visitor the option of listening or not as soon as I figure it out. I
tried INSERT-hyperlink but the player covers the screen.
