I recently bought a laptop, but can't seem to get my email messages to go to
outlook on my laptop. They go to desktop outlook. Is it possible to have the
same email address thru outlook on both laptop and desktop and get messages
on both?

Yes if you set the desktop account to leave mail on the server so the laptop can grab the mail.
