I have PeoplePC dial-up account. And when I try to get
updates, the message is "warning, cold not connect to
Internet". I am on-line.

Ensure that Internet Explorer or Outlook Express is
working online, open IE,from the File menu, ensure
that "Work Offline is not checked.
