how can i get the text to be the same size in my document

here is a sample of code for 2 words on different lines which are appearing
at different sizes in the browser. Can anyone tell me why? and how do i get
them to appear the same size?

go to www.amplestamps.co.uk and you will see what i mean on the left hand
side under page links look at fairies and angels, then nature below it and
they are different sizes in my i.e 6.029.00 sp2 windows xp

I believe it's because the words under the pictures aren't hyperlinks and
the menu on the left.

Select all of the link, then remove formatting, then re-apply your formatting (font, size, etc.)
either with the font dialog or use CSS.

They appear the exact same size here. It could be a slight variation in tag
precendence. For example: in the first example, the <u> element that
declares underlined text comes within the anchor <a> while in the second one
it comes outside the anchor and within.

One thing, get rid of the & in the filename shfairies&angels.htm. Never use
& because it is used for another purpose in URL's. Pretty much only stick
with alphanumeric characters (a-z A-Z or 0-9) and underscores. Avoid spaces,
apostrophes, etc...
