There is a setting in FP that opens the last web opened
- you want to turn it off
Tools Options General and unselect Open Last web
If you mean when you open you local site FP it is in the Remote site View (connecting to your online web), that is also because FP
reopens in the last view you used
After its is open switch to Folders View and close your web

| That made it go faster, but the "web site" navigator/folder/ thing is still
| opening when I open my default page.
| I'm just trying to make it so that my webpages in a certain file open the
| way they used to, by themselves, without that web site publisher thing coming
| up. Or, when it does come up, have the option to close it. Maybe there is no
| way to do that??
