Hi,

I just reinstalled my Dell with the factory restore and I wanna set up some
policies. Poledit.exe is not on my PC or my Dell reinstall disk. Where can
I download it please?

gpedit.msc efects _ALL_ Accounts on the machine. If you want "per user"
settings it is very hard to accomplish it with gpedit.msc. You have
to work with NTFS Deny Permissions on the pol files, so that the Admin
is not allowed to read and because of read, apply them.
But after that, you can no longer edit the policy ... :-(
Revert NTFS Settings, change settings, set NTFS permission and so on.

You can find poledit in every 2000 ServicePack after extraction.

The zip files contains manual edited ADM Templates, to make them
"poledit conform" and the poledit.exe itself.
The ADM Templates are german, but just copy/paste+replace the
[Strings] Section from your englisch ADMs.
Thats the only part of localisation inside the ADM.
