I have Microsoft FrontPage 98 and want to upgrade to FP2003. Since my
computer isn't Windows2000 or XP, I loaded from the CD of FP98 on my laptop
which does have Windows2000. I then bought at BestBuy the FP2003. It has
genuine all over it in laser and yet when I put it in my laptop to load it
doesn't take my Product Key for the case. I can't even get my one free email
to support cause it doesn't like my product key there either. HELP! Have I
got to pay a support fee just to get my software to work or is there
something I'm missing here.

1. You need to remove FP98 and the PWS from your Windows 2000 machine as the PWS is not supported,
you must use the IIS web server that can with Windows 2000 Professional.

2. FP98 doesn't need to be installed to install FP2003 upgrade, you just need to have the FP98 CD
available, when prompted for a qualifying product.

3. If the product key provided doesn't work, then take it back to BestBuy and get a replacement.

Also make sure that your version of Windows 2000 is at Service Pack 3 (SP3)
or later.
