Amongst other things you will need the same workgroup name
on each PC in the network, you wil need to turn off XP's
firewall, and you will need each PC in the network to have
an IP address in the same subnet (usually the fitrst three
groups of digits identical on each PC and the subnet mask
as 255.255.255.0. Run IPCONFIG from a DOS window on each
PC and see what the IP addresses are.
To see the PC you are sitting at it will need to be
a "server" which means having File and Print Sharing
turned on.
