Yesterday my entire inbox of messages in my Yahoo Mozilla browser transferred
itself to Outlook. I came back from lunch and it was gone. (I work at
home--so this is a mystery.) How can I get my 80+ email messages back to my
original account? At it stands, I've got years' worth of emails in folders in
Mozilla and my incoming emails in Outlook. Not good!! Tech support was
completely useless.

Yahoo! Mail uses POP3 for client access. If you configured MS Outlook to
access the Yahoo! Mail POP3 servers, and did not select to leave messages on
the server, they are gone from the server. There is no way to transfer them
back to a POP3 server. You could forward them to that account, but forwarded
messages appear as sent from the forwarder, not from the original sender.
