How can I get Gmail in Outlook 2000?

Don't want to upgrade.
GMail's webpage on POP mail starts with Outlook 2002.
Anybody want to walk me through this?

have a look on this site :

"Configure E-Mail Client for GmailT"
http://support.email2pop.com/Gmail_Outlook.html

They start a sentence in "Part II" with:

......(Outlook 2000/2002 only)....

It seems that Gmail support Outlook 2000 in IMO (Internet Mail Only) mode.

Maybe it helps.

's Computer Specifications

IMAP would be IMO mode only, but POP3 should work in corp. I don't think it
uses any authentication methods not supported in 2000.
