Where can I get the download for Windows Messenger?

I uninstalled it but would now like to get it back..can't find at MSN, only
updates. (I already have MSN IM)

unh, okay, since you insist
i/ look (search) here -> http://www.microsoft.com/
ii/ do you ever run "windows update"? odds are it's there as well.

Well - thanks. Only upgrades at Microsoft and Windows Update no help, and I
don't want Mozilla...so will keep looking

did win msgr 4.7 xp not show on your windows update? odd, does here ..

Eureka! It's now working. I went in to the registry and altered the values
to "1" for all viruscan/activeshield components and it works now. Don't ask
me exactly where I found them, I'd had a few beers at the time and can't
remember now ;-)

No, my Windows Update is "up to date" nothing missing....strange!
