Where can I get Cpu fan for a K6-2 400 mhz amd ?

I'v been looking all over can seem to find one for an old pc of mine.

assuming you have a heatsink on the cpu...you can always make a small
bracket and just mount a case fan so that it blows directly on the heatsink

i;ve done this a number of times and it actually cools better and
quieter than the original fan

Yes, I do have the heatsink. Thats a really good idea, I just have to find a
way to mount it.

i usually just bend a piece of sheet metal

i then drill the holes and make sure there are no metal filings at all!!!

it is also best if you find an existing hole somewhere in the computer
case...
it is not a good idea to drill a hole anywhere (due to loose filings)
but if you look around a bit there is generally going to be some
logical place to mount it

I use nylon ties and run them thru the mounting holes on the corner of the
fan and the metal clip that holds the heat sink. As long as the fan blows
down on the heat sink, it seems to cool quite well (and even allow a bit of
overclocking).
