Hi,

Is there a way to "get" the IP address of the desktopcomputer which my
pocket PC is connected to?

I'm trying to create a TCP client/server program, but my desktop PC is
using dynamic IP address.

Any solutions?

Thanks!

Try using the hostname 'PPP_PEER' instead of using the IP address

PPP_PEER is a feature of ActiveSync that alows the PocketPC to connect to
the host computer

Hi,

Thanks for answering my post.

This PPP_PEER IP is the IP of ActiveSync (192.168.x.x) while my desktop
belongs to 172.18.x.x.

Using PPP_PEER I get connected to ActiveSync and not my desktop application.

Any solutions to getting my desktops IP and not ActiveSyncs IP?

Thanks!!
