When I know the IP address of a remote PC, how can I query its NetBIOS
computer name by this IP remotely?
Thanks,

Hank

Dear Robert,

Thank you for your quick answer.
But what I want is exact NetBIOS computer name not DNS name.
Some computers within intranet haven't registered in DNS server.
So, is there any solution to get NetBIOS computer name remotely.

Regards,

Hank

nslookup or tracert will also return the name. Angry IP Scanner is a
nice tool to do a bunch.
