I mistakingly deleted a recovered file from the side panel that pops up when
you start microsoft word. I think it showed up in my recyling bin and I
restored it but I have no idea where to find it?

Any help?

The AutoRecover files have the file extension *.asd. You can search for such
files in Windows, but note that since you deleted the file from the Recovery
pane it may be lost forever.

See also http://support.microsoft.com/kb/827099/en-us ("How to recover a
lost file in Word 2007 or in Word 2003").
