Close Outlook. Ensure that you are able to view hidden files and folders (do
this using Windows Explorer Tools > Options). Search for *.srs. It should be
in an Outlook folder under your profile. Rename it or delete it and reopen
Outlook. Let me know if that helps.

There must be or Outlook couldn't operate. Open Windows Explorer and enter

%AppData%\Microsoft\Outlook

in the Address Bar. Click Go. The file will have the same name as your
mail profile and be a type "SRS File", with a file extension of ".srs" if
you have enabled viewing known file extensions.

You shouldn't have to delete that file more than once. Were I in your
shoes, I'd try a new mail profile.

There are so many errors that are caused due to registry related errors. Among them one is 0x800CCC0F error in outlook. Because of the registry files corruption your Outlook stops working. So it becomes very important to fix the issue. As we know that the error is due to the registry corruption so using a good professional registry cleaner application will solve the issue. However at times the issue is due to severe damage and corruption of pst files in such case run scanpst.exe or use free pst repair software.
