I am looking for certain email archives from 2004, is there any way to
retrieve those?

Within OL, open the archive(s)

No, but I didn't save them in an archive. Would Outlook have saved them for
me where I could get to them?

Outlook doesn't archive unless you tell it to do so. So if you didn't
archive the messages are still in your mailbox.

if Outlook autoarchived them, and you didn't specify a non-default location,
then when you go to File-Open-Outlook data file (in Outlook) they will be in
the same folder as the current pst file, and Outlook will automatically
look there first.
