Sure all you have to do is select what you want the report to run on ...
On the columums at the top find 'In Page' click the down arrow and select
custom ...(double click to bring up the dialog box)
tick the selection that will exclude the folder you want to exclude...
the only drawback is that can only do this twice.....so if you have more
than one ... then yes make the folders subwebs .. then back again if you
don't want them that way after you run the report.
but for a couple of folders this is quicker
