Are these Critical Updates or other/driver updates?
Recommendation:
1. If you are not logged in as an Admin, please do this and try Updates
again.
2. If you use Pop-up Blocking or Antivirus software please disable this and
try again.
3. If you are behind a firewall this could prevent Windows Update from
functioning normally.
4. If you have an RC0 (non-SP1) version of Windows XP, try installing SP1
first, then check for critical updates.
5. Review the details of the specific updates being offered for more
information about System Requirements.
