I have no internet connection on some machines, but I still want to be able
to update Windows Defender. How can I download and install the updates
manually? Is there a site like Symantec AntiVirus definitions downloads where
you can download a manual update and apply it?

Even though I don't have internet I want to be protected from things coming
from USB, CDs, DVDs etc.

Thanks, but your post had some errors so I cannot see the article-ID or the
community-web is having problems because I can see that it shows 4 posts
under the thread, but I can only see 3 if I expand the thread
http://www.microsoft.com/communities...4-39f90d578866

Do you have that KB-ID as well?

Best regards
Niklas
