Hi,
I am fairly new to excel, but i am trying to set up an invoicing system
for my parents business. heres the situation:

We are a business that charge people for the time that they use our
services. we have a central register ( in a database) that contains the
times that each person users us per day. There is also a monthly
invoice that goes to the customers, and they pay in advance of the
service we provide. IS there a quick way of linking their times on the
registers direct to the customers individual invoice for automatic
printout? i have been having ago at this, but with me writing out all
of the formulas for day the customer uses us in a month, it is quicker
just putting in the data manually on the invoice.

my 2nd query is based around 'extras'. if someone is late leaving, then
we charge them seperatly at the end of the month. is there a way in
which, using forms, i can get employees to send data e.g. arrived
early, went late, directly to the customers individual invoice accross
our LAN?

any help would be greatly appreciated

thanks,
