.... either with WIndows XP or add-on software?

Right click and in the menu have some additional options, such as look
up highlighted word in Google or Dictionary.com?

I can do this on a Mac now and love it, and I am thinking about
switching to Windows. But I would hate to lose this option.

Windows is highly configurable but mainly from registry.

Why do you want to switch to Windows?

1. Reason and one reason alone: Outlook. Neither iCal nor Entourage can
match it, and both my office (and my wife) live by it.

Outlook doesn't come with Windows. It comes with Microsoft Office and
there is Office for Mac.

Ubuntu Linux has a program. Take a look at the screen shot and tell me
if it doesn't look familiar:

Outlook doesn't come with Office for Mac. (Entourage replaces it --
poorly.)

Ubuntu looks like a child's version of an old Outlook, circa 96 or
something.

You can change the appearance. The price is certainly right, free, and
they ship you the CD, free.
