I like when I using windows explorer, I can select VIEW > DETAILS and
then I get the option of ordering my files by SIZE, DATE etc. This
works in XP for everything except if there is a multimedia file, then
it doesn't offer the option for DATE sorting. Why is this? I hate it
that I can't see the last file I updated because it doesn't offer it
when there are multimedia files (mp3, avi, wav etc) in the mix. Any
help?

Have you just added the column for "DATE MODIFIED" or "DATE CREATED" or
"DATE ACCESSED" and used them?
