Can a display be on the top or bottom of screen?

While power point is running in a Electronic Bulletin Board, can a seperate
message like the active time and date be shown at the top or bottom of the
sreen?

Yes, the current date and time can be shown during slide show. Look at my
free AutoDateTime add-in at http://officeone.mvps.org/addins.html. It allows
you to do that.

Thank you for your advice. It is exactly what we would like to display. We
are in a retirement community going to 781 homes. The senior citizens look
for the time and dates. Can the font size and or color be changed? Hard to
see on a dark background. Thanks again

Yes, the color, font, font size, position of the date/time, etc. can be
changed. AutoDateTime uses the Date placeholder. Change the font size or
color of the date placeholder, go to the slide master by selecting "View" |
"Master" | "Slide Master" menu. Locate the text box that contains the "Date
Area" text. This is the text box that AutoDateTime uses. Change its color,
font size, font name, etc. Close Slide Master.
