Can I delete .HDMP files?

After doing a Defrag, I found a folder that had files it could not defrag.
This folder (C:\WINDOWS\PCHealth\ErrorRep\UserDumps), over a 3-day period
(Aug 4, Aug 7-8), this year loaded 622 files and 7.61 GB useage. With only a
meager 30GB HD on this old beast, I need the space.
File format example: vsmon.exe.20080808-015939-00.hdmp

--> Can I delete these .HDMP files and regain my lost memory space?

Thanks,
TJ

If you can't delete the file while windows is running try booting in safe
mode then deleting it.

If you can't delete it there you can boot from a Bart PE or Linux System
Rescue CD and delete the file from there.
