I just noticed another user listed in Users Accounts:

ASP.NET Machine A...'s account

It is described as a limited account and password protected. I have no idea
what I may have done to activate it. My needs and my computer are about as
basic as can be.

It appears that I can delete it, but---before I do so---I wanted to check
whether I should.

Ed,

If you do then your ASP.NET (Framework) won't work. What I mean is that ASP.NET
is used for IIS...

Basically, if you do then you may have to re-install the .NET Framework
1.1/2.0/3.0 whichever version of the Framework you have

Its not doing any harm being there
