How can I delete 600,000 items out of my inbox?

I had a sql server send me 600,000 alert emails and I'm trying to figure out how to get rid of them. Last time I could see my outlook I had 375,000 items but OWA says I have 600,000.

You can create a Permanently Delete rule and have that process your Inbox
Folder.
